Paul Thomas worked in the financial services industry for over 40 years. His journey from bank teller to bank CEO began in 1976. He followed an old-fashioned career path that saw him rise through the ranks. Along the way, he gained broad experience in retail banking across a range of financial institutions.

Versed in all aspects of management, Paul developed a reputation as a high-caliber executive with particular expertise in strategy development and execution. Post-retirement, his deep knowledge of contemporary issues and his passion for communication find expression in his fortnightly blog, Elephant in the Room.
